![]() ![]() This was the easiest and better of two choices I had. This may seem cheesy or n00bish but please understand I only have very basic mod skills so I did the best I could. This then allowed me to ensure that all that all the structures were buildable and that you would be able to advance up the tech tree as normal. Then I went into export_descr_buildings.txt and changed all the settlement_min large_town, settlement_min city, settlement_min large_city, settlement_min huge_city lines for all of the buildable structures to settlement_min town. This is tested and is save game compatibleĮnd Result: In order to circumvent the settlement bug I had to change all villages to cities in descr_strat.txt this then left them at a respectable level which is important since the glitch doesn't let you manually upgrade them. \mods\teutonic\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign Cut and paste export_descr_buildings.txt to. Download both attachments (Put them somewhere on your hard drive you can find them) Below should be two individual attachments: Export_descr_buildings.txt and descr_strat.txt Now understand me when I say this will not fix the problem as I have no idea why the settlements are misbehaving this will only circumvent the problem till someone finds out. I used to think the game was unplayable for Chaos and High Elves until I thought of a workaround. ![]() ![]() And though this glitch occurs mostly in Norsca there are other areas as well. Reason for Mod: Some of the settlements on the global map, mostly all of the Norsca settlements, do not upgrade no matter what I do even when I have sufficient population for the settlement to upgrade this results in 2/3 of the tech tree and units being unavailable to me.
